Kennesha Baldwin
Visual Language and Visual Learning, VL2

Kennesha Baldwin is VL2's Senior Manager, Communications and Dissemination. She has nearly 15 years of experience in strategic communications and project management. At Gallaudet University, Ms. Baldwin manages all internal and external communications, including sharing VL2's ground-breaking research and translational work with the public. She writes and edits article for its websites, social media platforms, print products, newsletters and magazines. She also manages special events, including VL2's Annual Knowledge Festival, which showcases the exemplary work of the Center to the general public, Board of Trustees, donor, media and more. 

Ms. Baldwin earned a bachelor's degree in English from South Carolina State University and a master's degree in Communications from Trinity University. Before coming to Gallaudet, she spent more than a decade reaching achievements such as launching national educational awareness campaigns, managing a complex Project Management Office, building strong strategic partnerships and overseeing strategic communications at various institutions, including the National Institutes of Health, Children's National Medical Center, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Heart Rhythm Society and the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
