Denise Fedlan

Denise Fedlan received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology at George Mason University (2016). Currently, she is a third year Clinical Psychology PhD student at Gallaudet University. In El2, Denise is working on examining the use of cochlear implants in young deaf children and early language. She is also providing support for the Early Language Longitudinal Study. Her clinical interest is on the development of self-esteem and its influence on behavior and well-being. Her current research focus is on the relationship between parenting, attachment, and self-concept in deaf and hearing adults.
