Dissertation: “The Role of Auditory Experience in the Neurocognitive Systems for Everyday and Effortful Listening”

Dr. White is a Cognitive Neuroscientist with over a decade of research experience. His research program studies neuroplasticity from using hearing aids, cochlear implants, and sign language. Dr. White first began language research during his Honors BS at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, and he later received a research PhD from Gallaudet University.

Dr. White's research has been featured on the front cover of NeuroImage for his groundbreaking discoveries about how the brain is organized for listening effort. He has been invited to present at countless peer-reviewed conferences and invited keynote lectures around the world.
