Melissa Anderson

Psychology
Gallaudet University


Melissa is a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology department at Gallaudet University. She grew up in Pennsylvania and completed her undergraduate education at Boston University, earning Bachelors degrees in Deaf Studies and Psychology. Her research and therapy interests are domestic violence and sexual assault in the Deaf community. Melissa's future goals are to work as a psychologist in a domestic violence shelter and to eventually establish a trauma center for Deaf women. Melissa is the current VL2 Evaluation Graduate Assistant.
