Sarah grew up near Milwaukee, WI, but moved east to attend the University of Virginia (Charlottesville), where she received both my B.A. (German and Foreign Affairs) and M.A.T. (German and Secondary Education). She then lived and worked in Germany and NYC before deciding to attend Boston University to work on her Ph.D. in linguistics. Sarah's research interests focus on first and second language acquisition and bilingualism.
