Brittany Burkhardt

Audiology
Gallaudet University


Brittany Burkhardt is from Hazleton, Pennsylvania, and earned her bachelors’ degree in Communication Science and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007. Brittany is pursuing her doctorate of Audiology at Gallaudet University.

Currently, Brittany works as a research assistant with Dr. Corine Bickley conducting research on computer-generated materials for possible use in communication training and on a lipreading study.

Brittany is interested in working with the Deaf community and being an advocate for families with Deaf children. Brittany is interested in conducting research in Audiology related fields with the hopes of pursuing her Ph.D. here at Gallaudet.
