Nada Faquih

Speech-Language Pathology
Gallaudet University


Nada Faquih is from Saudi Arabia. She obtained a B.S degree from King Saud University in Speech and Hearing Sciences in 2006. She then came to the United States in December 2007 to pursue her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Currently, Nada is a second year graduate student at the Hearing and Speech department at Gallaudet University.

In order to fulfill her interest in research, Nada will be assisting Dr. Cornie Bickley in her research of deaf students written skills by conducting the Test of Syntactic Abilities upon deaf students. Her long term goal is to go back to Saudi Arabia and conduct research among the population of special needs and the deaf population in particular to develop assessment and therapeutic tools in Arabic language.

In her free time, Nada enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading books, and going to the movies!
