Sabrina Speranza was born in Maryland, but has lived in West Virginia since she was seven years old, so she is used to having a great view of the mountains. She grew up homeschooled by her deaf parents along with her two sisters, who are also deaf. Sabrina is a sophomore at RIT and has been working for Deaf Studies Laboratory since her first year. She is in the program Multidisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Writing Studies and Literary and Cultural Studies with a minor in Creative Writing. She hopes to work in the publishing industry after graduation.
