Greg Witkin

Clinical Psychology
Gallaudet University

Greg was born and raised on Long Island. After graduating high school, he entered the University of Rochester, where he earned degrees in ASL and Brain and Cognitive Sciences. While there, he also earned a scholarship to study ethnic conflict in Central and Eastern Europe. After graduation, Greg worked for an agency for people with disabilities in NYC before coming to Gallaudet to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.

Currently, Greg works with Drs. Dragana Barac-Cikoja and Len Kelly on a study of Deaf readers. The study aims to understand how Deaf readers learn new words, and how to increase their reading abilities.

In his spare time, Greg enjoys watching hockey (Go Rangers!), traveling, making the most out of life, and cheesy clichés.
