Cecily is originally from Montana, and is now in Washington DC by way of Oregon, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis. She has a BA in Religion from Reed College. Cecily is currently a doctoral student in linguistics; her main research interests are phonology and phonetics (both theoretical and as applied to signed languages).
