Cynthia was born in New Orleans, LA, where she was raised until her family moved to Virginia Beach, VA when she was about 11. After high school, Cynthia worked in Texas for a couple of years before starting her undergraduate studies at Eastern Michigan University, where she graduated in 2008 with majors in Linguistics and Area Studies: Asia and the Far East. Cynthia is currently a M.A. student in Applied Linguistics at Boston University.
