View Free Webinar to Learn How to Use Visual Communication and Sign Language (VCSL) Checklist

On October 16, 2017, the Early Education and Literacy Lab (EL2), one of four resource hubs at the NSF-Gallaudet University Science of Learning Center on Visual Language and Visual Learning (VL2) hosted a live, free webinar to introduce the Visual Communication and Sign Language Checklist (VCSL) and the companion VCSL:O, an online assessment system that allows evaluations to be conducted electronically, with automated scoring, reporting, and data storage. Interpreters will be provided.

Petitto Brain & Language Laboratory Completes Successful RAVE Pilot Launch

The Petitto Brain & Language Laboratory, BL2, (Petitto, Scientific Director) has successfully piloted its RAVE ("Robot Avatar Thermal-Enhanced") prototype learning tool with 25 infants over the course of five days. The pilot was successfully executed between June 25 – 30, 2017.
