project 1 -- Age-Appropriate ASL Vocabulary

VLAS 1: Age-Appropriate ASL Vocabulary (Morford, Kuntze):

This study focuses on developing ASL vocabulary norms for school-aged deaf children, an important measure that has not yet been created. We are using the videotaped classroom language transcripts generated by Kuntze [in VLA 1] to provide a schematic of the development of morpheme-based sign usage from pre-school to second grade.
